Medano Beach

Medano beach at Spring Break

Find A Hotel in Los Cabos

Fantastic deals on hotels in Los Cabos with our booking partners. Amazing discounts on over 100 properties, instant reservation and user reviews/ratings to guarantee you get the hotel you want, when you want it. In many cases you PAY NOTHING now...check it out here!

Restaurants and beach clubs line the shore, and jet skis, water taxis and more zip out from the coast. This is Spring Break central, where the beach is best enjoyed with a tequila shot in hand!

Check out some of the beach clubs here: you’ll know them by the music (choose from loud and raucous to chill-out electronica), the wide umbrellas and lounge chairs. Its also a welcome break from the beach pedlars which can be tiresome for some on this beach. There are over 600 licensed pedlars here, and who knows how many un-licensed, so the constant pushing of merchandise can become tedious.

However the great thing about Medano, which is easily the most accessible beach in Cabo San Lucas, is its size.

If you’re not into carousing during the daylight hours, simply take a walk further down this long powdery stretch of sand. Away from the action, you’ll find it’s a great place to bring families, or watch a spectacular sunrise as the sun rises over the Pacific and illuminates The Arch.

The water here is good for swimming: boats and water vehicles all enter and exit the water at carefully designated zones, but there can be some strong surf so it is advisable to watch out for your children when they are in the water.

Getting there is easy with regular water taxis to and from the marina and it is also an easy walk, either along the marina to where it joins the beach or around the back past the Marina Fiesta hotel.

Medano Beach has a little something for everyone, and is well worth checking out at least once on your visit to Cabo.
