Whale Watching Season

Date Published:

The whales could be arriving early this year as more whales are being seen offshore right now than is usual so early in November.

Local fishermen are reporting seeing many more Humpback and Gray whales already when they are out looking for marlin and dorado.

“We have seen a lot of whales up around Migrinos.” said Roberto Sandez, a local captain, “We saw more than a dozen yesterday and it looks like they are starting to migrate already.”

Whale watching season in Los Cabos  officially starts next month and reaches its peak over the winter months, but November can also prove to be good with some years, notable 2008, producing spectacular viewing opportunities.
