Cabo’s annual VIP tourism summit kicks off today with a
cocktail reception in Hotel Las Velas.
An important event for the promotion of Cabo as a top tourist
destination, it brings together trade
partners, hoteliers, tour operators, airlines, and industry specialists from Cabo’s
key tourist markets.
The 4- day summit offers the opportunity for these partners
to engage directly with key players in Cabo’s
tourism sector as they showcase the newest tourism offerings and plans for the
upcoming 2017 travel season.
Today’s cocktail reception will be followed by 3 days of
activities and talks where it is customary for important promotions and deals
to be agreed.
The Gran Sheraton Hotel is hosting the summit, including a
major exhibition of display stands.
Last year 44 companies from around the world attended. More
are expected this year.
