Feels like another bumper week for new flights to Cabo.
Only days after Alaska Alirlines announced their
intention to increase flights to Cabo, and within weeks of announcing a new
route from LA to Cabo, South West Airlines reveal plans for another direct route
to Cabo. This time from Oakland, California.
Executives from South West Airlines explained that
growing demands from US customers for convenient, non-stop flights to Cabo has
led to this development.
Baja California Sur has always been a popular destination
for travellers from the bay area - " and Los Cabos, in particular, is the
most popular international destination of the East Bay " - said Bryant Francisco,
aviation director of the company.
Flights are expected to start in February 2017.
This is third new route to Cabo this month .
