The southern tip of Baja California sure is popular. And
seems like Cabo is always winning awards – for golf, beaches and hotels.
Just a few weeks ago, it was voted Best Golf Destination of
the Year in Latin America and the Caribbean.
A couple of months earlier Cabo's hotels won a whole bunch
of awards - including Best Resort in Mexico, Best
Boutique Hotel In Mexico, and Leading Spa Resort.
And a few months before that it was Cabo’s beaches
grabbing 6 out of the 10 top spots for Mexico’s best beaches.
And just a few days ago, San Jose Del Cabo hit the headlines
as it won the top spot in Best Destination on the Rise in Traveler’s Choice by Trip
Advisor.
Much less of a party scene than Cabo San Lucas, and only
20 miles away, San Jose del Cabo is noted for its laid back local scene.
People head here for the beautiful colonial Spanish
architecture, to scuba dive in Cabo Pulmo National Park, to visit the San Jose
Bird Sanctuary, for the famous art walks, and to relax on the beautiful
Palmilla beach.
So, Cabo is not just Cabo San Lucas. It’s San Jose del
