New air routes to Cabo are set to continue as South West
Airlines announce plans to fly from Los Angeles to Cabo.
Negotiations are complete and Southwest are just waiting
for the US Department of Transportation to grant permission to activate the bilateral
agreement with Mexico. Flights are hoped to begin as soon as November.
The announcement comes just weeks after Viva Aerobus broke
new of their new daily flights from Mexico City to Cabo. And a few months prior
to that new flights opened from Leon to Cabo with
Air Calafia, and Tijuana to Cabo with Aero Mexico.
It is still only July and Cabo has already experienced a
big boost in domestic flights this year. And definitely looks on target to hit
4 million passengers before the year end.
