More on Cabo's White Moth Problem

Date Published:
From the research that the iCabo.com team have been doing it looks like the white moth is a sub-species of the Geometridae family, possibly Anacamptodes herse or Anacamptodes defectaria. Neither insect is terribly well-documented however the A. Herse has been recorded as being a pest in Honduras because the larvae (caterpillars) sometimes feed on soya bean leaves. The general feeling is that this predation only takes place when there are no alternative sources of food.
