More good news for Cabo airport.
Less than a week after South
West Airlines announced new flights from LA to Cabo, Alaskan Airlines confirm they
will be expanding routes to Los Cabos, La Paz and Loreto.
Alaska Airlines already operate in Baja California Sur
and the increasing demand from their passengers for more flights and more
destinations within the region has led to these proposals.
Genaro Ruiz, head of the Ministry of Tourism in Baja
California Sur, has already met with the directors of Alaska Airlines. He confirmed
the initial discussions went well and medium term plans are underway. The expansion
involves increasing the frequency of existing Alaska Airlines flights and adding new routes.
Looks like another good week for Cabo!
