Fabulous Medano Beach - One Reason Visitors Come Back to Cabo Again and Again

Although the legendary and timeless, Land's End Arch is what symbolizes Cabo San Lucas. It is Medano Beach, which brings people back, year after year. While Los Cabos has a tremendous amount of unique and wonderful beaches along the corridor, in San Jose del Cabo and as far away as Cabo Pulmo, Todos Santos or La Paz, it is Medano Beach that is the most frequented and Southern Baja California's regions, undoubted treasure. ''This is why we come back every year, '' said Steve Berry, a retired American from the Northern California bay area, who waved his hand towards Medano Beach from the pampered comforts of the pool area at Villas del Palmar. ''The first time we discovered Cabo, was during a cruise ship stop here a very long time ago. Ever since then, we try and make coming back to Cabo, a regular stop during our many vacations,'' continued the affable, picture-taking, Berry. ''I really love this view. Two years ago, we stayed at Casa Dorada and we always choose a resort that is here on Medano Beach. It just doesn't get any better.'' The next day, Steve Berry and his wife were scheduled to enjoy a whale-watching tour and when it comes to Medano Beach, there are always so many activities to choose from. Of course, the most common is the water taxi ride to Lovers Beach. those are available at a general price of $4-6 Untied States dollars, per person; depending on how many people are boarding the glass bottom boat. How many water taxis have gone to Lovers Beach per year, is a question whose answer probably is found in the millions. Para-sailing is another very popular activity that visitors enjoy at Medano Beach. At a price of $45 USD per person or doubles, costing $70 USD a pair. People are taken on a water taxi out to the Para-sailing boat and are then led out a little at a time by cable until they are hanging high overhead Medano Beach. The panoramic views are breathtaking and people are allowed to take up their cameras or cell phones at their own risk, to photograph their adventurous high altitude undertaking. Kayaks are also readily on hand at Medano Beach, as are the multiple companies that offer jet ski wave-runners up and down the pristine beach. Stand Up paddle boards are also on the menu of activities available at Medano. The beach itself contains so many diverse areas. At the point closest to the Marina entrance is where many locals will spend their days swimming with family. Closer inward is the hub and heart of Medano Beach, where the partying really goes on...
