Hurricane Dora will pass 405 km from Cabo

First hurricane of season will bypass Cabo – but likely to cause rains in mid peninsula...

Tropical storm Dora was upgraded to a category one hurricane early this morning.

But luckily for Cabo, the predicted trajectory indicates that Dora will remain offshore. And is expected to pass 405 kilometres south of Cabo on Tuesday at approx 01pm.


At worst, it may cause rains and winds for the middle peninsula. We will keep you updated on all further developments.


If you happen to be in Cabo at the moment, or anywhere else in Baja California Sur, please pay attention to all weather warnings.
