Preparations are now in full swing
for the upcoming annual festival held in honor of the city’s patron saint - San
Jose del Cabo.
The celebrations will take place
between 15-20 March with loads of cultural and artistic events, plus a huge
range of sports and activities and even more carnivals and parades over the festival
weekend.
An important part of the
festivities is the XIX Art Festival of Todos Santos. The coordinator of the
Festival, Jorge Antonio Barajas, promises a quality event with a varied
artistic program combining local, national and international artists.
Visiting artists and performers
as well as a full program of events will be published in the coming days.
The mayor, Arturo de la Rosa Escalante,
is hoping for increased numbers of both local and national tourists.
