BC - AC

Date Published:

There is a local joke about Cabo’s two eras, BC & AC (After Costco and Before Costco)

Cabo’s pioneers pride themselves to have lived in the BC era; rough years when they had to drive hundreds of miles to get decent groceries.

The AC era brought a whole new variety of foods, electronics and bulk prices for Cabo’s population.

“The start of the AC era was an wonderful thing for all of us, you could go to Costco and purchase specialty foods and impress your friends with a gourmet dinner that didn’t include Marlin as the main dish” said a local expat happy to see Costco reopen its doors after being shut for business.

“The strength of Hurricane Odile brough us back to the BC for 6 weeks, they were interesting times, but having Costco open again is a relief for all of us” said a local mum with a shopping cart full of diapers.

So there you have it dear Parishioners, fill your hearts with joy; the AC era is back and one of town’s preferred shopping venues is back.
