Cabo Killers At Play

Los Cabos is widely known as one of the top whale watching destinations in the world. Tourists come from all over North America each winter, not only to escape from the cold and the snow, but to get out on the water and get close to the whales. This annual Cabo spectacle draws so many visitors because of the large numbers of whales that are found in such a small geographic area. The southern Baja Peninsula is the destination of choice for the whales’ annual southern migration because of the abundance of life in the Sea of Cortez. Many baby whales are born here each winter and have plenty of time to fatten up before the long journey north. As anyone who has taken a whale watching tour in Cabo can tell you, the gray whales and humpback whales are the ones you will see.
