Mexico
continues to grow as a firm favourite for American tourists with a 27% increase
in US visitors over the last 2 years.
And Cabo is very
near the top of the destination list, being beaten only by Cancun and Mexico
City. According to data from the Federal Ministry of Tourism, in the first
quarter of this yea Los Cabos, welcomed 339,000 American visitors, and received
a total of 1.1 million American tourists in 2015.
With the
increase in new flight routes, more cruise ships and more luxury hotels all in the
pipeline the trend looks set to continue.
However, concerns
have arisen over some of the anti-Mexican comments being made by Donald Trump.
And analyst have today have warned that such comments could affect the acquisition
of properties in Los Cabos by Americans.
