Authorities Gear Up for Easter

Date Published:

More than 1,100 police and military personnel, with 282 vehicle units, will be deployed during Easter in Los Cabos.

The operation will be held from March 30 to April 5, and involve the three levels of government, including the Mexican Army and Navy.

The 292 kilometers of coastline comprising about 55 beaches suitable for swimmers, plus areas of ecotourism, the hotel zone and the installation of filters on Federal Highway will be targeted with regular patrols to ensure the safety of visitors and locals alike during this key holiday period.

In addition, lifeguards will be deployed on the busiest beaches, particularly where red flag warnings will be installed.
