Redrum Sportfishing September 1 to 22 2013

Date Published:

September 1 2013 Well, still no slow down in the fishing due to the storm closing the Port for two days. There was another storm that closed us down for a day this week, but it was gone really quickly, so it did not interfere with all the catching we have been doing lately! Average water temperatures have been hovering around 85 which has made for a really hot bite! Monday we had Brittney Huerta and Bryan Louenberg fishing aboard RumRunnin for the full day with the Jesus’s. They had an AWESOME day with Bryan releasing a nice 150 lb Striped Marlin and catching 4 Dorado, 3 Yellowfin Tuna and 2 Bonita. Vilma Barbosa and clan fished on 19′s Toy for the day and caught 7 Yellowfin Tuna, a Dorado and a Skipjack. Tommy Chambliss and the Stevenson’s headed out on El Nuevo with cappy Alex and caught 6 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Dorado and released a Striped MArlin. Rich Sullivan and friend had an awesome day aboard one of our Pangas releasing 2 Striped Marlin and catching 6 Dorado and 2 Yellowfin Tuna. Steven Valeri and crew fished on Colleens Magic and caught some Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado. Not bad for a Monday! It is not over though, we had Cyril Roseman and Fred Arny fishing for two days on ReelRum, Monday they released a Striped Marlin and 5 Dorado – check out the pic!! Aug 26 - Arny RosemanAnd Wednesday they caught 7 Dorado, most of which were also released. Richard Galbraith and David Miranda fished for two days aboard RedRum and Wednesday aboard RumRunnin. Monday, they caught 5 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Dorado and a Wahoo. Wednsedy they did not fare too bad, catching 13 Dorado, most of which, they released.
