Another beautiful week in Cabo has just passed us by. We had a slow mid-week crawl, but we are still catching Dorado, Wahoo and some Striped Marlin this week. The bill fish bite is still down, but not non existent!
Donald Chilcote and his crew fished on 19′s Toy Monday and had a great day boating 3 nice Dorado and 2 Wahoo. Veteran RedRum fisherman Tony Wille boated a nice Dorado on Tantrum. The Lemon’s were looking for Marlin on Reelrum, but boated 2 Dorados instead. Dr. Phil Nufrio caught 2 Mahi as well. Jeremiah Cook and his gang came down for our Mate Oscar “Ozzie” Cosio’s b-day. They had a great 3 days of fishing boating quite a few Dorado, 1 Snapper and a Wahoo. The best day was on Colleens Magic where Will Conrardy and his crew caught 9 Dorado, they kept 4. Now, on Tuesday Tom Naughton and Chris Rojas had a great 1/2 day fishing up by Margarita beach. They caught a NICE Wahoo, 2 Dorado and a couple of Skip Jack. Tom Naughton Wahoo n DoradoKatie Hei’s Toy and Never Give up. They had a great time filling their fish box to take home with tzman and her crew had a banner day on RumRunnin Tuesday. They caught 9 Dorado a Wahoo, Skipjack and an Amberjack. Wednesday slowed a bit, though I do not have reports from that day, because I was off, if you fished and you want to comment how it was, please let us know!! Thursday Micheal Grasso caught 2 Dorado and a bunch of Spanish Mackerel on ReelRum for his half day charter. Jeremy Bedding feild headed a little further out on RumRunnin and caught a nice Dorado, lost 2 more. Sally Wigginton had a great day on Tantrum where she released her first ever Striped Marlin. Dale Nisbet and his wife Lindsey were back with us along with some friends. They went out with buddy Ryan Donovan on 19′s Toy Friday and could not have been happier catching 4 Dorado, 3 Wahoo and they released a Striped Marlin. Nothing compared to day 2 when they only boated a Dorado. That’s fishin’ this time of year folks! But they had a good time out there anyway! Troy Schultz had a good day on RumRunnin Friday releasing a Marlin and boating 2 Dorado and a Wahoo. Chris and Pam Peterson had a great 1/
day charter on Friday as well boating 2 Wahoo a Dorado and a Spanish Mackerel. Brad Shepherd fished solo on Tantrum Friday and boated a nice 60 lb Dorado as well as a large Wahoo. He also caught 3 more Dorado. On Saturday the Edmondstons were back with us. They caught a Dorado and released a Striped MArlin. They decided to do it again Sunday and caught 4 nice Dorado. Don’t they look happy :) Edmondsons Paul Glasson and crew fished on Collens Magic Saturday and caught a nice Striped Marlin, estimated around 180lbs. Dan McNulty and his buds fished for 2 days on 19′S Toy and Never give up. They had a great time filling their fish box to take home catching 9 Dorado and a Wahoo. The surprise and unexpected catch of the week was on 19′s Toy Sunday, Wobbe Ploegsma and Stacie Gabriel landed a nice 75lb Yellowfin Tuna and a nice Dorado.
