Amigos – What a crazy,
crazy month this has been. We moved into a new office space in downtown Cabo
that caused us a bunch of issues, from no internet, phones crashing to you name
it! On top of that we had the Bisbees Offshore and Black and Blue Tournaments
in town. We apologize to those of you who had a hard time reaching us.
Now to fishing….We had
the Bisbees Offshore Tournament on October 14th-17th that had 109 boats
entered. The tournament overall produced 5 Black Marlin, 70 Blue Marlin 31
Striped Marlin, 25 Yellow Fin Tuna, 6 Dorado and 2 Sailfish over 2 fishing
days. Big Winner was “Wild Hooker” taking home $263K for a 450 pound Black
Marlin.
This last week we had
the Bisbees Black and Blue Tournament, the grand daddy of our tournament
season. There were 123 boats fighting it out for over 3 Million Dollars
in prize money. Over 3 days of fishing the tourney produced 9 Black Marlin, 175
Blue Marlin, 56 Striped Marlin and 3 Sailfish. The BIG winners were “Quintana”
that took home 2.1 Million dollars for their 534 pound Black Marlin!
We also want to point
out that our guys Captain Javi and Freddy aboard the 34 ft What a Journey took
home 4th place overall with a 344 pound Blue Marlin, beating over 100 boats for
the second year in a row!
