The water is still a bit cool on the Pacific, and the temp break off the Land's End Arch continues to stack up with fish as they await their trip north up the Pacific for the summer. The bite is real hot right now on the Sea of Cortez side and towards the East Cape. The water is in the upper 70's, blue and beautiful, whereas it is still pretty cold and green on the Pacific. The Striped Marlin bite has been real good, with 5-6 shots per day. Both trolling lures and dead Balyhoo are effective. Good numbers of Dorado and an occasional Wahoo thrown in there as well. Glass-calm water on the Sea of Cortez and good action makes for some of the best times to be on the water in the Baja...
