Bad Medicine Fishing Report: March 2014

Date Published:

Cabo is having a winter like we have not seen in many years. The cold North winds that normally bring cooler water and winter fishing conditions have not yet arrived. The Striped Marlin bite is holding very strong out on the banks on the Pacific side, with 4-6 shots per day common. We are catching them free lining live bait down deep on light tackle. This is a very enjoyable way to catch and release these beautiful fish. Be sure to bring your video cameras for footage you will never see anywhere else! When the water does cool on the Pacific side, the Marlin will migrate to the Sea of Cortes side. This puts the bite close to Cabo and a short ride to the action. Nothing like being at Land's End and having two diverse fisheries to enjoy right at our door step!
